Founding Officers of the Southern Western District Union

Founder/President: The Late Dr. H. B. McDonald

Vice President: The Late Elder Billy Harbour

In an effort to promote continuous fellowship among the churches of the Southern Western District , Elder H. B. McDonald received permission to re-organize the District Union.  With the re-districting of churches in the western area by Bishop A. W. Lawson, there was a need to embrace those churches that remained with the Southern District Convocation.  Elder H. B. McDonald as the organizer and first president with Elder W. B. Harbor serving as Vice President.
